Aerial Classes
Our Aerial classes invite you to breathe deeper, stretch longer, and play easier—all while suspended in a soft silk hammock just a few feet off the ground. Think of it as Pilates, yoga, and a little bit of childhood joy all in one practice.
Don’t worry—this isn’t Cirque du Soleil. Our classes are thoughtfully designed to be accessible to all levels and ages 14+, including beginners and those who haven't rolled out a mat in years.
During class, you’ll:
Use the silk hammock to support your body weight and explore traditional yoga poses and Pilates moves in new ways.
Experience spinal decompression through gentle inversions (think hanging like a bat but way cuter).
Build core strength and upper body stability as you transition in and out of the hammock.
Engage in mindful breathwork and calming stretches as the silk cradles your body into deep relaxation.

Benefits of Aerial Work
Decompression & Spinal Relief
The anti-gravity nature of aerial yoga allows your spine to elongate naturally—relieving pressure from daily tension, tech neck, and gravity’s general sass.
Mental Clarity & Mood Boosting
Inversions stimulate circulation to the brain, enhancing focus, creativity, and that feel-good “I did something new and brave” glow.
Core & Upper Body Strength
Expect to tone muscles in places you didn’t even know you had—all while laughing and feeling lighter in your body.
Enhanced Flexibility & Joint Mobility
The silks support deeper stretches and improve range of motion without the strain of floor-bound gravity.
Inner Child Joy
There’s something magical about swinging again. We highly encourage our 60+ community to come rediscover the art of play!
Nervous System Reset
Classes close with gentle, cocooned relaxation in the silk—like a floating nap that resets your whole mood.
Ready to Hang?
No experience necessary—just a willingness to try something new and show up for yourself.

What You Need to Know Before You Fly
Aerials are a beautiful blend of grounded breath and gravity-defying joy. To keep your experience safe, supportive, and fabulous, please review the following guidelines before joining class:
✅ What to Wear & How to Prepare
Shirts with sleeves are required (no tank tops)—this protects your skin and the silks.
No jewelry of any kind (rings, earrings, necklaces, watches, fitness trackers). It can snag or tear the silks.
Compression shorts or fitted bottoms are recommended for all participants to prevent fabric ride-up and improve comfort.
Supportive bras are a must for women—especially during inversions.
No zippers, buttons, or snaps on clothing that could damage the fabric.
Hair must be tied back without metal or plastic clips. Soft cloth ties only, please.
No deodorant, perfume, or cologne—these stain the silks and can cause allergic reactions in others.
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can help you get set up safely in the silks.
❌ Who Should Not Participate (Contraindications)
Aerials are not appropriate for individuals with the following conditions unless cleared by a medical provider:
Pregnancy (due to pressure, inversion, and fabric compression)
Glaucoma or recent eye surgery
Severely low or high blood pressure
Recent surgery or acute injury (neck, shoulder, spine, or hips)
👶 Age Policy
Participants must be 14 years or older to join regular Aerial Yoga classes.
